Grasshoppers Move on to Divisional Series
Depending on your loyalties, the Wild Card Series was either thrilling or heartbreaking.

The series went down to its final game, with the Greensboro Grasshoppers and the Hickory Crawdads giving their fans plenty of drama. In the end, the Grasshoppers came out on top, winning 2-1 at L.P. Frans Stadium today to take the series 4-3.

"We're lucky to be going into the Divisional Series," said Greensboro pitcher Maurice Vicente. "If all the series are like this, it'll definitely be an entertaining postseason."

Vicente earned series MVP honors, hitting for a .385 average, with 1 home runs, 1 RBI and 5 runs scored.

The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Series finishes.
