Kannapolis Wins Again, 2-1
The Kannapolis Intimidators got a strong game from starter Stewie Asher, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Intimidators took the 2-1 win over the Clinton LumberKings in Game 2 of the A Championship Series in a 13th inning walk-off today. The win capped off a fine outing for the left-handed Asher. Asher threw 7.1 innings of 3-hit ball in the win, which gave the Intimidators a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Nick Kass won the game for Kannapolis when homered off Terrance Kreder in the bottom of the 13th.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Kass.

The next game is set to be played for Monday, October 7th , 2052 at Ashford University Field in Clinton.
