Raucous Dow Diamond Crowd Propels Loons to 7-1 Victory; Series Tied at 2
The Great Lakes Loons took down the Augusta GreenJackets by the score of 7-1 and moved into a 2-2 tie in the A Championship Series. The largest share of the credit belongs to Great Lakes starter Thomas Morris, who threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball.

With no one out in the bottom of the fourth, Sidney Mead put Great Lakes in front, 1-0, with a run-scoring single. The Loons went on to win the ballgame.

"Thomas gets tougher when he has to, makes a big pitch when he has to," said Great Lakes skipper Eli Coalter.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dow Diamond in Midland.
