San Francisco Win Evens Series at 2
|
The San Francisco Giants defeated the Fresno Falcons, 5-4, in Game 4 of the Division Championship Series. Making an impact was first baseman Gavin Braun, who went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win moves San Francisco into a 2-2 tie with Fresno in the series.
San Francisco took advantage of an error in the bottom of the eighth inning. The game was tied, 4-4, when Marc Martin hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Giants in front, 5-4.
"It's true for every sport, I think, but the playoffs are so short that you've just got to get in and get hot," San Francisco manager Miles Waterbury told BNN after the win. "We took care of the first part and now we're just working on the second."
The next game is set to be played for Saturday, November 1st , 2064 at Savemart Center.
