The Miami Marlins got a great start from 37-year-old right-hander Zach Kerwick, as Miami won the contest, 5-3, at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Kerwick threw 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball in the win, which allowed the Miami to grab a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Aiden Wallace came through with a big-time hit for Miami. The second baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to give his team the lead, 5-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

Wallace called the win "a collective effort."

The next game is set to be played for Tuesday, November 13th , 2057 at LoanDepot Field.
