Hot Rods Win Divisional Series
The Bowling Green Hot Rods clubhouse was filled with glee and celebration tonight, while the Greensboro Grasshoppers room was filled with despair and sadness after the Divisional Series concluded.

"Someone's got to win and someone's got to lose, we're just glad we're on the good end of it tonight and can enjoy this," said Vince Schweizer, who was named MVP for a strong series of offensive performance.

Bowling Green won the final game by a 4-0 count at Bowling Green Ballpark and the series 4-2.

Greensboro manager Brian DuMont was simple and to-the-point in his assessment of the series.

"They were the better team and deserve to move on," he said.

For the series, Schweizer hit .348 with a .444 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The Regional Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
