Atlantic City Wins Wild Card Series
|
The Atlantic City Jokers will continue the trek towards a A- Championship Series title, while the Vermont Lake Monsters are headed home for the season.
Atlantic City won the Wild Card Series with a clinching game 7-2 victory at Monongalia County Ballpark, concluding the series at 4-2.
"We didn't want this thing to go any further, that's for sure," Rodri Hernández said after officially being named series MVP.
He turned in a dominant offensive performance to win the award, with a .346 batting average, .393 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 4 RBI and 5 runs scored.
The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Series finishes.
