West Virginia Moves on to Divisional Series
Riccardo Greene has led his West Virginia Black Bears to a Wild Card Series victory.

West Virginia's third baseman was named series MVP after playing an instrumental role in winning the series 4-2 and eliminating the Staten Island Pizza Rats.

"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "It's simple what I did this series."

The club advanced to the Divisional Series with a 3-1 triumph at Richmond County Bank Ballpark in the deciding game.

Greene was red hot in the series, which saw him put up a .400 average, as well as 1 home runs and 2 RBI.

The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Series finishes.
