Paradis, Mavericks Too Much for Storm
|
The High Desert Mavericks beat the Lake Elsinore Storm, 6-4, at Mavericks Stadium. Samuel Paradis, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Lake Elsinore now is 5-15.
Tim Posillico drove in one run for High Desert. The 25-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off MartÃn Maymi. It was his 10th RBI of the season.
"Winning is not something we take for granted," Posillico said.
