Muckdogs Move on to Regional Championship Series
The Batavia Muckdogs are heading to the Regional Championship Series, having narrowly defeated the Brooklyn Cyclones.

Batavia edged Brooklyn in the series 4-3, with a win at Dwyer Stadium in the clinching game by a 11-5 margin.

Austin Rohling turned in a strong offensive performance for the Muckdogs and got series MVP for his efforts.

"I'll never turn down another trophy for my mantle, another accomplishment to remember once my career is over," he said. "What I would really remember, though, is a A- Championship Series win."

It remains to be seen how the playoffs will conclude, but if Rohling continues to swing a hot bat, his team will no doubt have a chance.

For the series, he hit .500 with a .514 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, 2 RBI and scored 7 runs.

The Regional Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
