Levinson Dominant in Falcons Victory
|
Pitcher Nick Levinson was sensational for the Fresno Falcons in his team's 3-0 triumph over the Montreal Expos. Levinson picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Gregg Walters closed the game out for Fresno, earning his 5th save. Fresno now owns a record of 35-41.
Levinson's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 5 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 4 hits. Levinson, who is tied for 3rd in the WEST with a 1 complete games, goes to 5-8 on the year with 88 strikeouts.
"Coulda, shoulda, woulda," said Montreal manager Dirk Botelho. "We had our chances and didn't cash in."
