Orioles Win at Milwaukee, 3-1
|
The exploits of left fielder Chad Pack, who finished 3rd in the AL in runs with 121 last year, helped the Baltimore Orioles defeat the Milwaukee Brewers, 3-1. Pack was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Liam Gaeta picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed no runs on 6 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 5-5. Baltimore is now 39-40.
Baltimore grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Pack hit a 2-run home run off Dax Russell. His 9th home run of the season put the Orioles out in front, 2-0.
