New York Mets starter Zachary Britt turned in a sterling performance against the Portland Hops, leading his team to a slim 2-1 win. New York is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Jeremy Zimmerman, who finished 5th in the EAST in triples with 12 last year, aided the New York cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder went 1-3 with a double.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Britt.
