Portland and New York duked it out and the Hops came out victorious.

Good production from first baseman Lobo Peña helped the Portland Hops topple the New York Mets, 7-5. Peña was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Hops. Ugo Graham closed the game out for Portland, earning his 1st save.

Portland used the timely hitting of Noah Austin to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Hops on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Austin, "one at-bat at a time."

Portland is now 34-59, New York 55-38.
