Astros Snag 5-3 Win
The Houston Astros got a hard-earned win over the Virginia Black Bears, 5-3, in 17 innings. Joshua Massengill provided some offensive muscle for Houston. He went 3-7 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The second-place Astros go to 47-48.

Houston used a clutch hit from Austin Mitchell to get the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the 17th inning to put the Astros ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Nice win for us," said Mitchell. "Now we'll go after the next one."
