Boon Helps Texas Cruise to 10-3 Win
The 10-3 Texas win over Virginia was due largely to Brock Boon. The Rangers third baseman was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Brayden Starcher closed the door for Texas, picking up his 1st save of the year. The Rangers, at 49-47, sit in 4th place in the Western Region Central Division.

With Texas leading 3-1 in the bottom of the third, Boon hit a changeup from Cassidy Fine for a 3-run home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Rangers ahead, 6-1.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Texas manager Andy Daniels.
