McConnell Leads Pirates to Win
A 3-RBI performance from Jake McConnell, who is on pace for 94 RBI this season, helped the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Indianapolis Ignition, 7-3. The win was credited to Marcall Monico in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Demario Thompson took the loss. Pittsburgh goes to 59-38. The win puts them 4 games up in their division.
