A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Las Vegas Knights and Chicago White Sox.

The Las Vegas Knights captured an easy win, 14-3, over the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field. Grant Linn led the offensive barrage, going 3-for-5 for Las Vegas. Picking up the win was Marshall Williams. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits. The left--hander struck out 2 and walked 4.

Leo De La Cruz hit a run-scoring triple off Alwin Rex in the top of the fifth, which put the Knights in front, 4-3. De La Cruz had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 5.

"It's disappointing, but we have to move on," Chicago manager Tristan Scoggins said: "You're going to have games like that."

The second-place White Sox have lost 5 straight games.
