Rangers Suffer 4-2 Loss to Mariners
|
T-Mobile Park was the site of a competitive game between the Texas Rangers and Seattle Mariners.
The Seattle Mariners earned a win at T-Mobile Park, stopping the Texas Rangers, 4-2. Starting pitcher Jason Rennie played a big role in his team's success. Rennie, now 8-4, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs.
Jake Ellis broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the third with a run-scoring walk. It put the Mariners in front, 2-1. For the game, Ellis went 1 for 1 with 3 walks.
"When Jason is on, he can really move the ball around," said Seattle manager Jose Perez.
The Mariners now have a record of 56-50 with the win over Texas.
