Brewers Handled by Fresno, 5-2
|
Fresno Falcons starter Reginald Clark hurled his team past the Milwaukee Brewers, 5-2. Gregg Walters nailed down his 31st save. Fresno, at 63-43, holds down third place in the Western Region Pacific Division.
Fresno used the bat of Apolo Tussey to get the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Falcons ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 2 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Clark said after the game.
