The Indianapolis Ignition topped the London Royals, 11-4, in American League action at Kauffman Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Indianapolis pitcher and Cheektowaga, New York, native Rick Choinski. The win elevated the Ignition to 57-51.

In the top of the fifth, Indianapolis catcher Yormani Calderon had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Calderon stroked a 2-run single to right-center. It made the score 9-0, Indianapolis. For the game, he was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI.
