Conlon Pops Two Homers in 9-4 Win for California
The California Angels licked the Baltimore Orioles, 9-4. Buck Conlon deserved a big chunk of the credit. The right fielder was 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Angels. Viviano Lucero snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Dimitri Sotolongo suffered the loss. California has a record of 52-65, placing them 5th in the American League Pons Division.

California used the hitting of Willie Warnock to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Angels on top, 3-0. For the game, Warnock had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
