|
Seattle starter Rusty Tucker had a strong outing against the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Park in Arlington. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 4-0 win. Seattle goes to 81-38, Texas to 38-81.
Tucker's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 6 strikeouts in 7 innings while allowing 2 hits. Tucker, who is on pace for 212 strikeouts this season, goes to 11-4 on the year with 156 strikeouts.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Tucker said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
