Everhart Leads Twins to 6-4 Win Over Red Sox
|
Minnesota center fielder Samuel Everhart had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Boston Red Sox, 6-4. Gabriel McClanahan, credited with the save, is now 31 for 35 in save opportunities. Boston has now lost 4 consecutive games.
Everhart contributed in the top of the fifth. With the bases loaded, he hit a bases-clearing double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Minnesota get the win.
"They played a better game than we did," said Boston skipper Logan Keaton.
