Angels Get Extra-Inning, 4-3 Win
In a close game at Disney Stadium, the California Angels edged the St. Louis Cardinals, 4-3, in 11 innings. California catcher Kent Homaa stood apart with his performance. He went 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winner was California reliever Jenjie Wongkeala, now 4-3. The loser was Ian Graham. California currently is in 5th place in the American League Pons Division at 56-66.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With one out, Homaa hit a slider from Ian Graham for a run-scoring double. The Angels, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Sometimes you get the ball in the right spot and it goes," said Homaa.
