Mets Roll to 8-2 Win Over Mariners
New York registered a win at T-Mobile Park by beating the Seattle Mariners, 8-2. Pitcher Adam Spellman was one reason why the Mets triumphed. Bylent Claus recorded his 2nd save for New York. The last-place Mets lifted their record to 53-72.

New York used a clutch at-bat from Raleigh Springs to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Mets ahead, 6-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We took it on the chin tonight," said losing manager Jose Perez.
