Orioles Take 10-2 Pounding
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Indianapolis Ignition and Baltimore Orioles.

Indianapolis registered a win at PepsiCo Park by beating the Baltimore Orioles, 10-2. Pitcher Dwayne Rush was one reason why the Ignition triumphed. Rush picked up the win for Indianapolis, going 8.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 9-10.

John Pascoe drove in one run for Indianapolis. The 27-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Brian Hoffman. It was his 28th RBI of the season.

"Not the preferred outcome," Baltimore manager Craig Lauer said, when asked afterward about the game.

Indianapolis sits in 5th place in the American League Alvarado Division at 63-63.
