Twins Come Back Late, Nip Braves
|
Minnesota Twins starter Christopher Albaugh turned in an exceptional performance against the Atlanta Braves at Target Field, resulting in a Minnesota win, 1-0. The Eastern Region Great Lakes Division-leading Twins have a record of 77-49.
Nick Haftel was the walk-off hero for Minnesota. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Twins second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Atlanta manager Frank Espinel, "let me know."
