Falcons Losing Streak at 7 After Extra-Inning Loss to Astros
The Astros earned a hard-fought, 3-2 win in 10 innings at Savemart Center. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Fresno pitcher Romeo Kimble. Kimble went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 run. The win went to Christian Duran in relief. His record improves to 3-3. Sean Nelson took the loss. Picking up the save was Steven Vineberg. He's now 19 for 24 in save chances.

Tris Running, who is tied for 9th in the NL in triples with 5, had a direct impact on the outcome. Running contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put Houston up, 3-2.

"This ballgame left me feeling kind of raw," said Fresno manager Ferdinand Coleman.

Fresno now owns a losing streak of 7 games.
