Expos Earn Win with Late Rally
The California Angels could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Jacob Musso into a win. Instead, the Montreal Expos prevailed, 5-4. Musso threw 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball. Ken Cole, now 3-1, was credited with the win in 4 innings of relief. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Montreal currently is in 5th place in the American League Sandoval Division at 60-69.

Noel Richard came through with a big-time hit for Montreal. The designated hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

Richard called the win "good for the psyche of this team."
