The Lancaster JetHawks topped the Napa Silverados, 2-1, in California League action at The Hanger. The game was highlighted by the performance of Lancaster pitcher Cristo Ochoa. Lancaster goes to 5-2.

The knockout blow came in the bottom of the ninth inning. That's when designated hitter Zachary Valdez stepped to the plate with runners on 1st and 2nd and hit a run-scoring single, to win the ballgame.

"Was I getting worried?" said JetHawks manager Josh Burke. "Nope." Then he added, with a wink, "There was never a doubt in my mind."
