A 5-RBI performance from the 24-year old shortstop Evan Jones helped the Lancaster JetHawks beat the Napa Silverados, 11-5. Lancaster pitcher Garry Alosi got the win. He's now 2-0. Felix Medina was tagged with the loss. Lancaster, now 6-2, is playing great baseball to start the year.

Desmond McAnally dealt the Silverados a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with the bases loaded and Lancaster leading 2-0, McAnally hit a 1-0 fastball for a 2-run single.

"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Jones told the Lancaster Herald.
