|
The Lancaster JetHawks picked up a win at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium, knocking off the Pittsburg Diamonds, 6-3. On the mound for Lancaster was left-hander Gabriel Estrada. He played a key role in the triumph. In 8.1 innings, Estrada surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 0. He allowed 3 runs. Now 7-36, Pittsburg has lost 10 in a row.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Jim Paul? The Lancaster first baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the JetHawks on top, 1-0. For the game, Paul had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
