Silverados Make It 4 Straight with 7-4 Win
|
Salvador Blanca knocked in 3 runs to help Napa beat High Desert, 7-4. Blanca produced 1 single and 1 home run. High Desert's current losing streak is now 5 games.
An important at-bat for the Silverados came in the bottom of the sixth, when shortstop Heath Zazueta stroked a 2-run double. That made the score 6-3 in favor of Napa. For the day, Zazueta went 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"You can never predict what'll happen," Blanca said. "That's why you play the game."
