Another day, another victory for the red-hot Martinez Clippers.

Sebastian Shrader had a hand in Martinez defeating San Jose by the score of 9-2. Shrader went 2 for 3 at the plate, scoring 2 times and driving in 2 runs. Martinez pitcher Dominic Alvarado got the win, upping his record to 2-1. Clayton McDermott got the loss. Ruben White closed the game out for Martinez, earning his 1st save.

A key moment came with one out in the bottom of the third. That's when Shrader hit a changeup from Clayton McDermott for a run-scoring single, putting Martinez up, 2-0.

"No one likes losing," said San Jose manager Leon Becerra. "We've hit a tough patch, but we're going to get through it."

Martinez has run its win streak to 8 straight.
