6-1 Loss to Storm Extends Riverside Losing Streak
|
The Lake Elsinore Storm defeated the Riverside Red Wave, 6-1. Doing his part was shortstop Traver Snead, who was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Riverside has now lost 6 straight.
Lake Elsinore took a 6-1 lead on Snead's 3rd home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Zach Cormier in the top of the sixth, propelled Lake Elsinore to the win.
"I liked the focus, I liked the effort," said Storm manager Kevin Cornell.
