The Lake Elsinore Storm downed the Ventura Gulls, 5-2, at Gulls Ballpark. Damion Meyers led the way, going 1-for-3 for Lake Elsinore. Oliver Brown closed it out for his 9th save. The Storm now own a record of 25-45.

Lake Elsinore used a well-timed hit by Sterling Tunon to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Storm ahead, 3-2. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Meyers told the Lake Elsinore News.
