Silverados Down JetHawks, 8-7
|
Oliver DeGraff added some punch to the Napa offense, helping them outmuscle the Lancaster JetHawks, 8-7. In the game, DeGraff, who is tied for 4th in the CAL with a .987 OPS, went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Tony Eccles, who threw 87 pitches over 5.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 4 runs on 7 hits. Napa, now 42-32, holds down 4th place in the California League North Division.
DeGraff contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Napa get the win.
"We got the victory," said DeGraff. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
