Blaze Handle Visalia, Snag 3-1 Win
|
Jim Perry Stadium was the site of a tense game between the Visalia Rawhide and Bakersfield Blaze.
The Bakersfield Blaze cut down the Visalia Rawhide by the score of 3-1, with the largest share of the credit going to first baseman Rafi Vasconez. Vasconez was 1-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI for the Blaze. With the win, Bakersfield upped its record to 43-32.
Early in the game, Vasconez had a 2-run double for Bakersfield. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Blaze on top, 3-1.
"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Vasconez.
