Vigil Goes Wild, But Rattlers Win
|
Napa left fielder Daniel Vigil was sensational. He hit 3 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring three times. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Rancho Cucamonga beat the Silverados, 6-5. A.J. Fabricant picked up the save for Rancho Cucamonga, his 2nd of the year. The 6th-place Silverados dropped to 53-41.
Catcher Gabe Ledbetter made an impact for Rancho Cucamonga, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Darien Keith in the top of the fourth. For the contest, Ledbetter was 1-4 with a double.
"Good to pick up this win," Ledbetter said.
