Stompers Secure 4-0 Win
|
Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Sonoma Stompers take on the Pittsburg Diamonds.
Sonoma turned a good effort from starter Reginald Farias into a win over the Pittsburg Diamonds at Bright House Field. The Stompers won the game, 4-0. The 5th-place Stompers improved to 59-40.
Javy Ramos chipped in a 3-run home run for Sonoma in the bottom of the second. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"It's always extra special to win at home," said Farias.
