Sonoma starter Reginald Farias pitched effectively against the Lake Elsinore Storm at Bright House Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 10-3. The 5th-place Stompers bumped their record to 62-42.
In the bottom of the second, 25-year old left fielder Evander Eilers hit a run-scoring double. The 13th double of the season for the Sonoma left fielder put the Stompers on top, 1-0.
"Reginald had himself a pretty good evening," said Sonoma manager Lorenzo Velarde.
