Riverside Red Wave right-hander Dawlyn Bermudez pitched a good game against the Lake Elsinore Storm at Lake Elsinore Diamond, leading his team to victory, 10-0. The winner was Bermudez. He threw 6.2 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Danny Tomlinson. Lake Elsinore is in the throes of a losing streak which has reached 18 games.

Anderson Kivett had a big bases-clearing double for the Red Wave in the top of the third inning. With Riverside leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Danny Tomlinson and swatted a double to right. It was his 14th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Red Wave ahead, 4-0.

Lake Elsinore manager Kevin Cornell, after yet another defeat, remained upbeat. He said: "We're going to get out of this thing, we're going to come busting through."
