Lancaster Scrapes Out 3-2 Win
The JetHawks grabbed a win, 3-2, at The Hanger, overcoming a fine effort from Pittsburg pitcher Leo Hutton. Hutton went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Bennie Garcia picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-2. Richard Acheson was tagged with the loss. The Diamonds have now dropped 5 straight.

The decisive blow was delivered by Todd Schumacher in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 24-year old left-handed pitcher Richard Acheson to win the game for Lancaster. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's great when the crowd is energized," Schumacher said.
