JetHawks Get Past Bakersfield for 4-3 Win
|
Lancaster left fielder Emmett Nazarian played a vital role in his team's 4-3 triumph over Bakersfield. He went 1-1 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Lancaster. Lancaster pitcher Garry Alosi got the win, upping his record to 7-2. Salamon Mancia got the loss. Juan Carlos Astorga picked up the save, his 27th.
Nazarian had a timely hit for Lancaster in the top of the eighth. With Bakersfield trailing 3-1, he turned a 1-0 fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season, making it 4-3, Lancaster.
"I'm proud to be a part of what we've got going on here," Nazarian told the Lancaster Herald. "It's a great group and we're happy with the win."
The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the JetHawks.
