The Sonoma Stompers downed the High Desert Mavericks, 9-2, at Bright House Field. The Stompers were led by Pablo Aragon. Aragon was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The win puts the Stompers at 67-52, while the Mavericks drop to 63-56.
Brody Long took High Desert hurler Áragorn Tamadio deep in the bottom of the first. His 3-run home run put the Stompers on top, 3-0. In all, Long had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 5.
