Stampede Deal Rawhide 4-2 Loss
The San Bernardino Stampede faced a tough opponent in Visalia pitcher Leonel Reilly, but found a way to pull out the victory at Grainger Stadium by a final score of 4-2 in 11 innings. Reilly went 5.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. San Bernardino currently is in third place in the California League South Division at 72-52.

San Bernardino got a knockout punch from Gannon Valentijn. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"Baseball is such a beautiful game," said Valentijn. "Anything can happen on any night, and that's why you don't dwell on what happened yesterday. Just look forward and trust you're going to have positive results."
