The Bakersfield Blaze stopped the Napa Silverados, 4-0, behind an impressive performance from Mike Franks. The 24-year old center fielder made life miserable for Napa pitching. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The Blaze are now 70-57, while the Silverados fall to 46-81.
