Lake Elsinore Rallies for 6-4 Win
|
A 4-RBI performance from the 22-year old second baseman Colton Frank helped the Lake Elsinore Storm beat the Lancaster JetHawks, 6-4. Lake Elsinore reliever Emmanuel Rios picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. Alberto Manzo was tagged with the loss. Lake Elsinore currently is in last place in the California League South Division at 48-88.
Frank had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 2-0 fastball from Alberto Manzo, he banged a grand slam home run to left-center, giving the Storm a 6-3 lead. It was the 15th home run of the year for Frank.
"Good pitching stops good hitting," said Frank. "And vice-versa."
