Mays Impressive in Bradenton Win
|
Though the conditions were not ideal, the Bradenton Marauders and Cocoa Flyers came back from a rain delay to finish their game.
In a low-scoring tilt between the Bradenton Marauders and the Cocoa Flyers, 25-year old left-handed pitcher Ralph Mays was the difference-maker. The Bradenton left-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. Cocoa drops to 1-9.
Mays made it look easy. He scattered 2 hits over 6.1 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. The left-hander upped his season record to 1-1.
"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Mays.
